The Client

Divya Sheth is a self–named high end luxury fashion brand by a designer based out of India. She’s all about applying Indian art and crafts, embroideries and historical textiles to her garments so that they become synonymous with where she is from. Inspired by the art of block printing and natural dyes, Divya Sheth outshines her competitors with her artistically unique creations. Each garment that is created is therefore part of a special, unique and limited collection.


The Objective 

We sought to harmonize Divya Sheth, as the designer and the brand with the new brand identity. 


The Solution

Our goal was to design a bold logotype that could retain a level of nuance and sophistication that is representative of her and her brand. Typography became hugely significant here. The identity was set in Perpetua with Courier as the secondary typeface. They were juxtaposed with each other to create a bold yet elegant and delicate look. The classic black and white colour palette was chosen as black signifies timelessness and class, whereas white being the absence of colour balances the overall impact and is thus a secondary accent. This simple graphic approach was extended to the stationery as well as packaging.
